Weekly look at who and what is making noise in the streets.
What a game it was on Sunday between the torch bearers of English Soccer , Manchester City and Liverpool. Fairly the match ended in a 2-2 draw. City manager Josep “Pep” Guardiola doesn’t seem to want to let things go. In one of the Cityzen’s attacking moves down the left flank, James Milner impeded the impressive Phil Foden whilst he was on a yellow card. Pep duly went bonkers at the officials on the touch line. I mean let it go Pep already. It wasn’t as if City haven’t benefited from favorable ref decisions in the past. Weren’t they helped by the sending off Gana Gueye in last season’s UCL semi OR De Bruyne’s lucky escape in the game last week with Paris? What I know is ref decisions tend to balance themselves out in the long term so Pep concentrate on getting more points on the board for your team.
