It was a 1-2-3 overall finish for Ineo Grenadiers in Barcelona after the final stage. Adam Yates who joined Ineos this year is the winner of the Volta A Catalunya. He finished ninth in the final stage 45 seconds behind stage winner Thomas De Gendt from Belgium. He beat Matej Mohoric in the break away , final five kilometres. When Thomas sat up for the climb on the final 5 km mark, Mate basically did not have enough in the tank to keep up.
