Some bad news for Warriors fans. Stephen Curry has suffered a freak injury at the end of the third quarter against Rockets on Wednesday night. He landed on a metal riser at the side of the court after having gotten past two defenders. Clearly in agony, Curry headed straight to the locker room with his night complete at 18 points and 5 rebounds. Warriors eventually ran out 94-108 winners. Curry was confirmed to have suffered a tailbone contusion. What is that you may ask. It is the bruising of that pointy bone right at the end of vertebrae(on the butt) scientifically known as the coccyx. By the looks of this injury, no bones seemed to be broken so Stephen just needs to rest and pop meds for the pain. Whether he will be back in the Warriors’ next game against the Grizzlies is not yet known.
