With scrutiny on Man United,Ole Gunnar Solskjaer proved he is the managerial Houdini. A man of the match display by Bruno Fernandes,2 goals, led United to a come from behind win over Everton. 3-1 was the final result. Bernard gave the toffees the lead after poor closing down by Wan Bissaka. Fernandes equalised with a well taken flick header.

It looked as though Rashford had gave United the lead after a cross from Fernandes from the left seemed to come off his head and onto Pickford’s far post into the net. The goal was in fact Fernandes’s as replays showed Rashford didn’t touch the ball. 2-1 to United at half time. Second half Everton never looked like scoring as the Red Devils dictated the pace of the game. The points were made safe in injury time when Cavani scored his first goal for the club after unselfish play by Fernandes put him through to finish low into Pickford’s right.
